Importing & Exporting
Salon Iris allows you to import a list of clients, employees, products, services, and vendors that were created using another program (such as another database program). A separate text file for each list of information (clients, employees, products, services, and/or vendors) that is being imported is required. Each file must be saved as a .txt (tab or comma delimitated) file.

Importing an existing client list or professional products.
Salon Iris LTD provide a free service to clients where we will (when able) provide popular products range(s) and a client data conversion service. Salon owners who have an existing client database held on a Excel type file format will be converted a no charge (were is is reasonably practicable to do so) ready for importing directly in our software. We also have a number of popular professional use product ranges available ready to import into Salon Iris. Click Here to view the terms under which we will supply this information.
Exporting
You can easily export information from Salon Iris to a spreadsheet or word processing file so it can be viewed and compared. Numerical manipulations can be performed on it, also.
You may export the following information directly from your database or from any of the major screens on Salon Iris: client, coupon, product, service, gift certificate, payroll, totals, percent retained, employee, mailing, tax, and/or ordering information.
