Salon Iris salon management software allows you to enter a list of services, prices, and descriptions your business offers. Salon Iris salon management software also contains over 200 reports, which includes service statistics. The information tracked is shown below:
 Service ID - can be up to 18 alpha- numeric characters long.
Description
Default time it takes to perform service, including employee time exceptions. An exception is when a certain employee takes longer than the default time to perform a service. The time feature is optional and works when scheduling appointments.
Set-up, processing time, and finish time (including exceptions)
Default price and employee price exceptions. Unless an exception price is entered for an employee(s), the default price is used.
When this service is sold, change the client's balance by a certain amount
When this service is sold, change the client's tanning minutes by a certain amount. Employee commission amount when this service is sold.
Up to three products may be entered that must be purchased when this service is sold.
Back bar charge (if any). Back bar is the amount of products that a salon uses to perform a service.
Editing a service or creating a new service is simple and efficient.

Prepaid Services
Quite a number of spas, beauty / hair salons, and tanning salons do prepaid services. Clients may purchase prepaid tanning visits, prepaid facials, prepaid manicures, prepaid haircuts, etc. Unlimited types of prepaid services can be tracked (for example, Sue Smith may have a 10 massage prepaid package, a 5 visit prepaid facial package, plus 10 prepaid tanning visits). Also, you can track how many prepaid services are remanning for a client.
You can also specify when commission is paid to the employee : 1) when the service is sold or 2) when the service is used.
New in version 7 you can automatically link a resource to a service. Salon Iris will automatically schedule the service and associated resource, preventing double booking of critical resource area and/or equipment.
